District 3300 Action Group on Environmental Sustainability
DAGES provides an organising point and resource hub for Rotary clubs, Rotaract clubs, Interact clubs and communities to build environmental awareness and service action.
About ESRAG
The Environmental Sustainability Rotarian Action Group was set up and approved by Rotary International in 2015 to empower the Rotary family worldwide to take action to sustain the environment and stabilise the climate.
About DAGES
The District Action Group on Environmental Sustainability was formed in Rotary Year 2018-2019 to help Rotary District 3300 clubs develop environmental projects, awareness campaigns and collaborations.
Objectives
A practical platform for environmental stewardship
Assist Rotary clubs
Support clubs in implementing service projects, building awareness and inspiring environmental sustainability action.
Coordinate partners
Help clubs work with local authorities, government agencies, corporates and NGOs for community benefit.
Leadership through action
The DAGES story is one of practical environmental leadership: from school recycling programmes and youth education to tree planting, plogging, water testing and the realisation of Rotary Peace Park Malaysia.
